JoAnne Kuehner, a humanitarian who lives in Naples, FL, has been working in Haiti for the last 18 years. In the early years she focused her efforts mainly on education, feeling that the real hope for Haiti lies with the next generation. Currently, Hope for Haiti provides an education for 14,000 children at 45 schools in Haiti. In 1997, JoAnne joined forces with Dr. Keith Hussey, a gastroenterologist, Dr. Hussey is a frequent visitor to Haiti and has been instrumental in expanding Hope for Haiti's Healthcare Program.
